LIMITATIONS
-
Not enough user testing was done for the new feature implemented.
-
Designs were tailored for mobile-use only. No design versions were created for kiosk-mode.
-
Due to time limitations, a majority of existing research was leveraged.
-
The short timeline did not allow for a competitor analysis.
CHALLENGES
-
It was challenging to design distinct user flows for different user types- Admin, Head of department and Employee.
-
Given that the product was already in use, the redesign had to be completed on a fast-paced schedule.
-
The design had to be versatile enough to suit users across different age groups and domains such as students at schools, employees at offices, and workers in factories.
